RIP, Robert Asprin – Boing Boing
I used to really love Robert Asprin’s Myth Adventures books. I haven’t read them in — God, probably sixteen years or more — but they were some of my favorite humorous fantasy novels when I was a kid. His other books were pretty awesome, too.
Sigh.
If you know any cool kids (and you will know them by their works) who could use the distraction, make a list of books you loved as a kid, and give them as presents. Thieves and Myth, Inc. (pun titles and all) are great presents. Introducing books like that into a young person’s life could be world-altering.
