…and I still can’t beat down my hard-on. That thing is amazing. I want one so bad. Especially as my MBP is showing wear and tear — I hate to throw the thing in my bag nowadays, especially as I don’t do much heavy lifting, computer wise, when I’m out and about. The EEE would be absolutely perfect for a laptop mangler like me.
Sigh.
Mmmm, drool drool. Top of the list for when I get $PROPER_JOB. Does that mean they’re hitting the shops now, or was it a demo?
I don’t know. I played with the EEE-PC 4G a couple months ago, and I just couldn’t get used to the tiny keyboard. It’s impossible to touch-type with it, and considering that writing in public is the number one thing I’d want from a sub-notebook, that sort of makes it unusable.
I guess if I were to spend the money to get an ultra-light, I’d go for the MacBook Air. It’s overpriced, but other than that, it’s pretty much perfect.
[A little disappointing that the EEEs don’t come with Ubuntu standard anymore. Oh well.]
I own an Asus Eee and an acer netbook but i often use the Asus Eee because it is so much lighter and easily fits in my small bag. .
