You know what, Josh? Despite your occasional misanthropic nature, I am so very heartened that the things you like far outweigh the things that you dislike (in both quantity and quality).

U2, Peter Gabriel, Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash!!! David Bowie - Agreed... the rest, I never really heard of, so I can't say.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - I watched the first 20 minutes of it and I just couldn't keep watching. Too weird. Although I do like the "Wave Speech" as a poetic peice.

If you like overcast weather, then you'd love Moscow.

Flying into Domodedovo Airport last week, I realized that the cloud cover over the city was by far the thickest I'd ever seen... anywhere.

This time of year, you don't see any hint of sun outside your hotel room until around 9:30 am, when the pitch blackness slowly starts giving away to an eery piss-yellow. By 10:00, it's a dull grey, the color of an old nickel, and the sky doesn't get any lighter the whole rest of the day, until the light disappears entirely just before 4 pm.
