    The Tank Chair is cool, but unfortunately it’s too wide to be practical as a mobility device. The ADA accessibility guidelines state that public doorways have to be 36″ wide. Wheelchair manufacturers try to keep the wheel-to-wheel width under 30″. The Tank Chair is 42″ wide.

  2. Obviously, the Tank Chair needs to be beefed up to the point where it can make it’s own doorway, ’cause that’s how you’ll get some respect. Fuck the ADA.

    I, for one, welcome our new armored-chair-riding overlords.
