Car bomb explodes in southeastern Turkey – Yahoo! News

ANKARA, Turkey – A car bomb exploded in the Kurdish-dominated southeastern city of Diyarbakir on Thursday, wounding around 30 people, including military personnel, news reports said.

Authorities blamed the blast on Kurdish rebels. Police were searching for two suspected Kurdish militants.

The attack — which shattered the windows of surrounding buildings — appeared to be a retaliation to three airstrikes by Turkish warplanes against Kurdish rebel shelters in northern Iraq last month.

As the terrorism escalates in Turkey, get set for the Administration’s obfuscations, and distractions vis-a-vis their involvement in giving Turkey the green-light to bomb the Kurdish territories in N. Iraq. Get set for another round of denials, finger pointing, and creepy, heretofore unknown midlevel Bush Administration officials to start coming out of the woodwork at the Congressional docket.
